Habib Hospital offers a wide range of accommodation for people from all walks of life. It ranges from the C Class to Deluxe. Though the ambience in the room may differ, the level of care across the Room classes remains the same for all.
Bed charges are calculated from 12:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. irrespective of the time of admission. If the discharge is delayed beyond 12:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. the patient is charged half day’s bed charges for the day.

When you are coming for admission, please check the following:

  • Your Doctor’s referral letter
  • Booking Slip (for Maternity Cases)
  • Passport (for NRI’s & Foreign Nationals)
  • Letter of guarantee from your Employer / Insurance Company, if part or all of your medical expenses are to be borne by your Employer / Insurance Company
  • Your Test results, x-rays and list of the medications which you are presently taking
  • DEPOSIT- It is suggested that the deposit in accordance with the schedule of charges to be paid in advance, in order to avoid delay in completing admission formalities at the time of admission. The Registration Staff will inform you of the required deposit which may be paid by cash, cheque (made payable to Habib Hospital) or major Credit Cards. No Deposit is to be collected from emergency patients requiring admission to ICU’s / ICCU and also from company tie-up patients
  • The patient or his relative has to duly fill and sign the admission form prior to the admission
  • It is it be noted that the information given in the admission form should be correct as the same is noted in the admission papers and is used for all practical purposes like birth certificate, insurance claim, medico legal purposes etc

When you are coming for admission, please check the following:

  • The doctors alone have the right to discharge a patient.
  • Discharge requests are processed round the clock
  • Please bring all deposit receipts, and the balance payment for the final settlement of your bills before 12.00 pm to avoid half day’s bed charges which are levied after 12.00 pm till 04.00 pm.
  • In case you are discharged on Sunday or on a hospital holiday, you may be required to make an on account payment as decided by the Admission & Billing Department. The final bill will be prepared the next working day. You will be given a Deposit Slip which has to be produced at the time of the final settlement.
  • Your Summary Report / Discharge Card will be given to you by the floor staff at the time of discharge.
  • Please surrender the visitors pass at the Billing Department.
  • After the final settlement you will be given a refund slip, and final bill with paid stamp, to show on floor staff & the security on your way out.
  • Kindly vacate the bed as soon as bills are settled.

  • During non-banking hours special provision is made for payment through cash counters in the Billing Department.
  • If you have a mediclaim policy, you are required to approach the Company directly for reimbursement of your bills for which you will need

Narrative summary. The final and detail bill will be given by cashier on settlement of dues. The discharge card will be given by the ward nurse at the time of discharge and the narrative summary from the Medical Record Department.(East Bldg.)/ Ward.

  • Our emergency department works around the clock.
  • If you have a mediclaim policy, you are required to approach the Company directly for reimbursement of your bills for which you will need (i) the final bill, (ii) the detail bill, (iii) the discharge card and (iv) narrative summary. The final and detail bill will be given by cashier on settlement of dues. The discharge card will be given by the ward nurse at the time of discharge and the narrative summary from the Medical Record Dept.
  • There are 1.5 times emergency charges for surgeries performed during non-regular hours (Normal working hours are from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, Monday to Saturday.)
  • We accept “On Account Deposit” which can be utilised for indoor & OPD services.
  • The bed charges are calculated from 12.00 am to 12.00 am irrespective of the time of admission.
  • All patients for admission are requested to sign a declaration for payment as per the hospital charges.
  • Mode of payment is by Indian Currency. To help you encash your dollar or T. Cheque contact Admission / Billing Counter.
  • We do not encourage patient’s relatives to stay overnight with patient’s in shared rooms/wards.
  • Only the billing department processes all inpatient payments.
  • Our pharmacy provides all the medicines for inpatients.
  • Pending reports are to be collected from the reception counter on the ground floor of the Habib Hospital after 7.00 pm, Monday through Saturday.
  • We provide care with dignity, consideration and respect for privacy / confidentiality.
  • The names of all professionals / staff are displayed on ID Card worn, if you have any clarification regarding any procedure, you may contact them.

  • Children below 15 years are not permitted at patient areas / bed side

Visitor’s Pass
The Visitor’s Pass is “Not Transferable” & if found with any other person then the person whose name is on the pass; the pass will be confiscated & a fine will be imposed.

04.00 pm to 07.00 pm – Monday to Sunday for General Ward
04.00 pm to 06.00 pm – Monday to Sunday for ICU
